2018 Al Walsers “Rebel & Caviar Night” – Hollywood flair in Zurich
For the third time, Al Walser invited to the Rebel & Caviar Night, for the first time in Zurich, at the 5-star Hotel Atlantis. And when he calls, the celebrities come. The summer highlight of the Swiss scene was a lavish celebration. Stars from the music and acting industries came, as well as the nobility, the cultural scene, producers, VIPs, athletes and hip bigwigs from business and politics.
Al Walser (42), for his part Grammy winner, singer, songwriter, producer, US TOP 20 show, composer, promoter and journalist, is excellently networked in Europe and invites once a year to a lavish party.
Ex-ski star Marc Girardelli came specially, as did tennis star Carl-Uwe Steeb, to celebrate together with BEMER President Pit Gleim and their friend Al Walser. Speaker and business expert for neurocommunication/marketing, Astrid Arens, came especially from Bad Honnef. They met in LA and now met again in Switzerland. It could hardly be more international. A special guest who flew in directly from Los Angeles was Lisa Haisha, life coach and speaker, who addressed inspiring words to the audience.
2018 Elton Johns Aids Foundation Oscar Gala Party – a mega event
Now it is time to celebrate, sniff Hollywood air, get in close contact with stars and to network. There is a magical atmosphere on site.
What a media event, what a brilliant party. 20 meters of “Red Carpet”, where world stars, celebrities, VIPs, economic giants, business experts and the world’s press bustled about. Interviews were given and plans for the future were made.
For Astrid Arens, this also fulfills a long-held dream. She wanted to meet Elton John in person, to exchange ideas with him and to be inspired by him. For her project, Cologne star designer Maria Lucas outfitted her with a breathtaking rhinestone gown. The artist Stor Dubiné (Nestor Pérez) from Berlin made an extra gift for Elton John, a little Elton doll.
Later in the evening, she actually succeeded in personally presenting Sir Elton John with the surprise gift “made in Germany”. He beamed and said, “This is a wonderful gift.” He was very happy about it. The Americans will love my charm and my passion.
2018 The German Oscars – Villa Aurora, Pacific Palisades at Paseo Miramar
Every year, representatives of the German and international culture and film scene gather here. On the Saturday before the Oscar ceremony, this year it was on 3.3.18, the Villa Aurora, the German Film and the German Consulate General, represented by Mr. Hans Jürgen Neumann, hosted the reception.
In addition to Gerd Nefzer, nominated for best visual effects in “Blade Runner 2049” by Denis Villeneuve, “A Fantastic Woman” received an award as best foreign language film.
A very special honor was that, for the first time, top German speakers were invited along with artists and actors. One speaker in particular stood out: German top speaker and business expert Astrid Arens. Her passion is the topic of (neuro-)communication/marketing, which was very well received by the guests. Gerd Nefzer (Oscar winner) congratulated her warmly on her great speaker success and said: “great topic – strong concept”. Adrienne McQueen (US-German actress and singer, known from “The Fast and the Furious” with Vin Diesel) said: “A topic that fits today, absolutely important.” Werner Daehn, one of Hollywood’s most successful exports (known from “xXx” with Vin Diesel and “Operation Valkyrie” with Tom Cruise) and Ruth Bornhauser, one of Hollywood’s most influential agents, congratulated her on yesterday’s Speakers Grand Slam success, saying, “Very emotional Speach that captures the audience.”
2018 Radio interview at the 2nd largest radio station in the USA – iHeart Radio
2016: Americans call her “The Voice” in the world of business (quote iHeart Radio 2016). At the US Speaker Grand Slam 2016, she stunned her audience in Beverley Hills with a passionate talk on her favorite topic, communication, and received standing ovations.
In 2017, she was among the winners of the 2017 Eden Achievement Awards in Beverley Hills. That year, iHeart Radio called her: „She is one of the greatest entrepeneur minds Germany has to offer”. 4.5 million listeners followed this broadcast of the 2nd largest radio station in the USA.
In 2018, she continued her success from 2016, where she was the first German speaker to win the international Speakers Slam. The 2nd US Speaker Grand Slam took place in Hollywood at the Marilyn Monroe Theater. Candice Bar from Luxe Life and UBN Radio/TV was so excited about this success that she immediately invited us to the station and for an exclusive interview. Millions of listeners were following us on the airwaves again, eager to hear what’s new from the German entrepreneurs who are here in the US.

The top German speakers arrive at the theater well prepared and in a good mood, just like their US colleagues. The jury is very excited, exchanges ideas, checks the premises, the light and welcomes all participants and the international audience. The atmosphere is great.
The mixed jury consisted of interesting Hollywood personalities, such as David Strasberg (hottest acting school in LA), Ruth Bornhauser (one of the most influential Hollywood managers), Werner Daehn, one of the most successful Hollywood exports (known from “xXx” with Vin Diesel and “Operation Valkyrie” with Tom Cruise), as well as Marian Thomas Grifftith and Marcus Giers, the initiators of the US Speaker Slam. The slam was charmingly moderated by the internationally active actress and singer Adrienne McQueen, who attested to the high professionalism of the German speakers.
The interest of US speakers in the Speakers Slam was great. The celebrity density among the US speakers high. Keith Mitchell, NFL football star and JLouise Mills, CBS – TV series star (Heartbeat), take to the big stage and captivate the jury and the audience from the very first moment. The tension rises as the German top speakers perform.
What was very interesting: There was a winner in the female category in 2016, who was also there again in 2018, and was able to build on her terrific success. The top speaker and business expert for neurocommunication and neuromarketing, Astrid Arens. David Strasberg was hugely pleased and attested that she has a professional appearance that emotionalizes, that inspires people and is attractive for the international stage.

The Eden Achievement Awards ceremony attracted so much attention in the U.S. that we were invited to do a one-hour live interview on Candice Bar – Luxe Life.

What a great moment. As the first with 33 other graduates, I was decorated as Master of cognitive Neuroscience by Prof. Dr. Gerhard Roth, leading internationally recognized neuroscientist, University of Bremen, and Torsten Seelbach, head of the Academy for Neuroscience Education Management. An award respectively a degree which is second to none in Europe.

What a sensational event. A dream of mine has come true. To experience the legendary Oscars. A few meters away from the superstars we were allowed to breathe in the notorious Oscar air. Good, better, great, sensational. A stretch limo took us to the Oscar dinner, where we ate together with stars from Fast & Furious, Dallas, Los Angeles, among others. Then we went to various after show parties. Unforgettable moments. Wonderful people.
2016 First international Speaker Grand Slam, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles
This Speaker Slam was hosted by Higher Master University represented by Ashkan Tabibnia, Secret Knock founder Greg S. Reid, and Einsmacher represented by Marcus Giers.
The special thing about this Speaker Slam was that each speaker was evaluated directly by a jury of several members after his presentation, which was all in English. This included the best TOP US speakers according to Forbes magazine, as well as US directors and producers. 200 visitors, a camera team and several photographers made the following red carpet something special. Many interviews were conducted and excellent networking took place.
The jury was composed of: Dr. Antonio Gellini (World Film Institute), Marcus Giers (Success Producer), Greg S. These were very special highlights. Both radio stations reach an audience of millions with their broadcasts. Speaking in front of such an audience is brilliant. They are very interested in what experts like us are up to. So I had a great opportunity to establish my topic of (neuro)communication. What an experience. I will be back again.
2016 Lee Strasberg Acting School, Los Angeles
Los Angeles – Hollywood is the city of all cities, next to New York, when it comes to true acting. For two weeks I was trained in the field of public speaking. David Strasberg has his very own idea about this. For him, a speaker is an actor as well as an entertainer. It was incredibly fun and these impulses are super valuable.
Film stars such as Uma Thurmann, Christoph Walz, Adam Sandler, Marlon Brando, Julia Roberts, Sienna Miller, Angelina Jolie, Benno Führmann, to name just a few, have gone through this school. David Strasberg himself as well as his great team coached us. Thank you very much for your commitment.
During these 14 days we also visited the legendary Bobbie Shaw Chance acting school, also in LA. Here we experienced a casting. Film directors, producers, actors, everybody was there and presented their skills. Casting was done on the spot. A very impressive moment and a great woman.

2015 MSC Divina – Captain’s Dinner
It was a sensational time on board of the MSC Divina. Lectures and seminars at sea are something very special. The captain and team fulfilled all the guests’ wishes. I am already looking forward to the next seminar trip at sea, which is planned for 2017.

2015 Stanglwirt – Going – Kitzbühel
After 3 days of intensive lecture and seminar work at the Stanglwirt, it is now time to relax. On the motorcycles it goes off into the Alps. Hard on the wind with a lot of joy in the heart. The crowning glory was the Harley Davidson meeting in Kitzbühel. Absolutely recommendable.

On the trail of Harry Potter. History has been written here. This city is idiosyncratic, it wants to determine and hold the reins. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel is very inspiring and ideal for coaching sessions. A lot goes on here.
